Petrarca en las letras catalanas del siglo XIV

Abstract

Bemat Metge, el principal humanista de las letras catalanas manifiesta en el diálogo Lo somni (1399), junto a una encendida admiración por la figura del gran mentor del movimiento, un firme rechazo de la ideología moral del Secretum. Se exponen aquí los principales pasajes que recogen su actitud crítica, los cuales afectan principalmente, además de esta obra, al De remediis y a las Seniles XVII, el libro dedicado a la traducción del Griselda.

Bemat Metge, the first humaniste of the catalan literature manifest in the dialogue Lo somni (1399), his inflamed admiration to the leader of the movement and, at the same time, a firm repulse of the Secretum's moral. Here, we expose sorne passage s that show his critical attitude; besides, this one affect to De remediis and Seniles XVII, the book of the translation of Griselda.
