Abstract
Enrique de Villena desarrolla una teoría de la puntuación en su Carta-Prohemio -introducción a la traducción que hace de la Eneida de
Virgilio-, en donde presenta un sistema estructurado en función de la medida
de 'un resuello', junto a preceptos de modulación musicales inspirados en
el ars nova propia del siglo XIV. Don Enrique de Villena develops a theory of the punctuation
in his Carta-Prohemio (introduction to the translation of the Eneid by Virgilio).
where he presents a structured system based on the measure of a 'resuello' (a special breathing type) and in musical modulation precepts characteristics
of the ars nova in the XIV century.
