Abstract
Un cuento moral del libro de El caballero Zifar (siglo XIV) presenta analogías de tema y de estructura narrativa con un complejo de chistes burlescos recogidos en España y en Portugal en el siglo XX. Estos chistes folclóricos muestran, a su vez, coincidencias llamativas con la Parábola del hombre rico y el pobre que se halla en II Samuel 12:1-14. Análisis de los posibles vínculos entre todos estos relatos.
 
A moral story from El caballero Zifar, a XIVth century Spanish novel, reveals analogies of subject and narrative structure with a repertory of folk jokes registered in Spain and Portugal during the XXth century. These jokes show further similarities with the Parable of the Rich Man and of the Poor Man that is in II Samuel 12:1-14. Analyse of the potential links between all these stories.
