Abstract
El presente artículo enfoca el tema de la antropofagia, esencial en el desarrollo del cuento del medio amigo en el Libro del Cavallero Zifar. Esta temática, ajena a la tradición del relato ejemplar y al resto de sus manifestaciones hispánicas, también está presente en la Estoria del rey Guillelme, un relato que integra el Ms. h-I-13 de la Biblioteca de San Lorenzo de El Escorial y que habría influido como modelo en la composición del Zifar.
 
This article focuses the topic of the cannibalism, which is essential in the development of half-friend story in the Libro del Cavallero Zifar. This subject matter, foreign to the tradition of this tale and to the rest of the hispanic manifestations, also is present in the Estoria del rey Guillelme, a story that integrates Ms. h-I-13 of the Library of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and that would have influenced as model in the composition of the Zifar.
