Las relaciones cubano-norteamericanas : ¿conflicto o diferendo?

Abstract

Planteamiento de las distintas fases que han atravesado las relaciones entre Cuba y Estados Unidos desde la Independencia de las Trece Colonias, hasta nuestros días. En este contexto se plantea si es correcto aplicar el término de conflicto o de diferendo en las relaciones entre ambos países. Partiendo de unas relaciones centradas en el intento de Estados Unidos de imponer su hegemonía sobre Cuba, se defiende la utilización del término conflicto para definir estas relaciones bilaterales.

Exposition about the different stages Cuba and the United States have maintained from the independence of the Thirteen Colonies until today. In this context, an analysis is made of whether it is more accurate to apply the term "conflict" or "difference" in the relationship between these two countries. Starting from relations based on the United States' attempt to impose its hegemomy on Cuba, the term "conflict" is chosen to define these bilateral relations.
