La isla de calor y los usos del suelo en Guadalajara

Abstract

En el presente artículo hemos estudiado, en la ciudad de Guadalajara, la relación entre su isla de calor, obtenida a través de la técnica de los transectos térmicos en automóvil, y sus diferentes usos del suelo, midiendo, en este caso, a partir de fotografía aérea y planos de la ciudad. La elevada correlación directa entre la isla de calor y la densidad de edificación, nos muestra el favorable comportamiento de esta cubierta en la génesis del fenómeno; por el contrario, la elevada correlación inversa en las áreas con alta densidad de espacios verdes, indica que tales cubiertas la dificultan o debilitan.

This report is about the relationship between the heat island of Guadalajara (Spain), obtained by making thermic measurements while travelling by car, and the different uses of the land in that city, verified by means of the data taken from air-photographs and city-maps. The high degree of direct correlation between the heat island and building-density, shows us the positive effect of this cover in the starting-point of the phenomenon. On the contrary, the high degree of inverse correlation in those áreas with high-density of green spaces, proves that such cover hinder or weaken this thermic phenomenon.
