Redes sociales para el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras : de Goethe a Rammstein con escala en Schubert

Abstract

En este artículo se exploran las posibilidades de aplicación de una red social para el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera y su cultura (en concreto, el alemán) en la enseñanza superior presencial. Teniendo en cuenta el nuevo estilo de aprendizaje de los nativos digitales, para los que la imagen, el movimiento y el sonido tienen la misma importancia que el texto, consideramos necesario un nuevo enfoque metodológico del profesor en la Web 2.0 centrado en la relación dialógica con los estudiantes. A partir de una experiencia desarrollada con varios grupos de alumnos hemos podido constatar el enorme potencial de una red social para la enseñanza de lenguas, principalmente porque una lengua es comunicación y la red social desarrolla especialmente esta habilidad, así como el aprendizaje colaborativo.

“Social nets for foreign language acquisition: from Goethe to Rammstein with stopover in Schubert” This article explores the possibilities of the application of a social net for the acquisition of a foreign language and its culture (specifically German) in the classroom lessons at a high level education. Taking into account the new learning style of the New Millennium Learners, for whom images, sound and movement are as important as written text, we consider that a new methodological approach of the university teachers is needed in the Web 2.0, focused on our dialogical relationship with the learners. From an experience developed with several groups of students, we have confirmed the huge potential of a social net for the language learning process, mainly because a language is communication and the social net especially develops this ability, as much as the collaborative learning.
