A teaching identity : the factors which have influenced it
analizar nuestro presente e intentar mejorar nuestra actuación en el aula.; From a close observation on our own personal and academic experience we can clearly tell the aspects which have
contributed to building our learning and teaching identity. When analysing to which extent this mixture of factors and
situations, of feelings and emotions present in our own learning process has contributed to build into our particular style
of communicating knowledge, of instructing and interacting with others, we can conclude that all of them are
circumstances that converge in our present practice. From this experience we can analyse our present and try to improve
our performance in the classroom.

Reflections on my experience as a learner of languages and on how that experience may have influenced my teaching style and practice
The following article is an introspection into my childhood and early youth memories in relation to language acquisition and learning of foreign languages. This analysis will help me determine to what extent these experiences, positive and negative ones, may have influenced my teaching methods and style to the present day.

This article contains some personal reflections on my work as a teacher and some learning experiences as a student. During the analysis of these experiences several learning styles have been reviewed in different stages of the educational process. This reflection reveals the close relationship between learning styles and teaching styles, showing how these educational preferences guide the teaching methods in the teaching practice. The Theory of Multiple Intelligences proposed by Howard Gardner provides the setting for these learning styles. The ultimate goal of this introspection is to be aware of the important role of self-analysis and reflection on the working methods, in order to improve teaching effectiveness and, therefore, the quality of students learning.
