There is a lot of evidence about the relevance of self-regulation in training sessions. This information in addition to the influence of intrinsical motivation in the practice of sport, led us to focus on emotional intelligence and training frequency. With this purpose, we have designed an empirical study with a sample of crossfitters from two affiliated boxes in Alcalá de Henares. In order to collect empirical data about emotional intelligence, we used the TMMS-24 test and also added questions about age, training frequency and gender. However, there are some significant differences among age ranges in some of the factors that were measured by TMMS-24: attention and clarity. To conclude, the sample showed an adequate level in the three factors: emotional attention, emotional clarity and emotional regulation. %K Psicología %K Psychology %~ Biblioteca Universidad de Alcala
