These monarchies were an example intermingling of native Oriental, Persian and Greek elements that these monarchs gladly imitated. The adoption of Greek by the Elites or the minting of Greek-like coins is some of the examples of this imitation of Greek ele¬ments. This paper’s goal is building a scheme of the different tries at Hellenization carried out by this Petty Kingdoms’ rulers while trying to explain why these monarchs put this policy into practise. %K Monarquía helenística %K Reino del Ponto %K Reino de Bitinia %K Capadocia %K Alejandro Magno %K Helenismo %K Hellenistic monarchy %K Kingdom of Pontus %K Kingdom of Bithinia %K Cappadocia %K Alexander the Great %K Hellenism %K Historia %K History %K Literatura %K Literature %K Filología %K Philology %~ Biblioteca Universidad de Alcala
