By focusing on their fictional and essayistic work, I analyze how these authors explore social and environmental dimensions of different sertões in order to negotiate the multiplicity of meanings the term has acquired on both continents. %K Sertão %K Lusophone studies %K Ecocriticism %K Postcolonial studies %K Estudios lusófonos %K Ecocrítica %K Estudios poscoloniales %K Literatura %K Literature %K Medio ambiente %K Environmental science %~ Biblioteca Universidad de Alcala
