%X Este articulo da cuenta de ocho epitafios romanos colocados en dos 
sectores la fachada externa de la Catedral Magistral de Alcalá de Henares y que sin duda 
proceden de la antigua Complutum. De ellos, cinco son inéditos y de todos, por hallarse 
colocados a gran altura, se mejoran sus lecturas, descripciones y fotografías. 

This paper deals with eight Roman tombstones discovered recently on the 
walls of the Cathedral of Alcala¿ de Henares (Spain) and most likely coming from near-by 
Roman Complutum. Three were already published, but being all of them placed between 6 
and 20 m. over the ground, previous readings were hampered by this difficult condition. 
Thus, measurements, new readings and close pictures obtained from scaffolds are offered 
for each inscription.
